Donald Trump hailed the dawn of a “golden age” for the United States as he was sworn in as the country’s 47th President on Monday (January 20, 2025). “The golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world,” he said.
Countries across the world are viewing Mr. Trump’s ascension to the White House with a mixture of scepticism and criticism. Some of his executive orders have been received with disapproval.
