As the Trump administration signals its intention to maintain a tough stance against China and vows to work with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific, it’s worth asking if the Quad remains a worthwhile investment for Washington. This article argues that the answer is yes — but only if a shared philosophy on security cooperation can be achieved.
