Japan can become one of the biggest winners of the Trump era

Sander Gerber is the CEO and founder of Hudson Bay Capital, a U.S.-based global investment firm. Kenneth Weinstein is the Japan Chair at the Hudson Institute, a think tank based in Washington, where he previously served as president and CEO. He is also the CEO of the Indo-Pacific Forum, a non-profit he co-founded with the late Shinzo Abe to promote a free and open Indo-Pacific.

The elections in both the U.S. and Japan are in the record books. And in their aftermath, there is a unique opportunity to renew and strengthen the alliance, the most important bilateral relationship for both nations.
