U.S. President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have denied U.S. media reports that Elon Musk is set to receive a Pentagon briefing on Friday about top-secret plans for a potential war with China.
Writing on X, the billionaire Musk’s social media platform, Hegseth acknowledged that he would be coming to the Department of Defense but insisted: “It’s an informal meeting about innovation, efficiencies & smarter production. Gonna be great!”
